OffLine Folder Corrupted

I suffer a corrupted offline folder. Unable to access it at
all via Pine (only by text editor of file ), error notice of:

[Unable to parse message UID at 2048: -Aug-2008 03:54:04 +0000,39817;000000000000-0000798]

This occured after a crash that was either inet related or local,
not sure due to the timing & lockup.

Is there a simple way or utility to correct this folder? Other than
a text editor cut & paste effort!

This is in PC Pine 4.64 on an old Win95 system. No other problems
can be detected. All the other dozens of folders are fine. IMAP
folders are fine. Just the one folder.
