Alpine and folder navigation

Hello,

In Pine 4.64 I use the right/left cursor keys to move into folders
(right cursor) or out (left cursor).

Alpine has changed this behavior: The right cursor key now moves to the
next folder in the list (equivalent to cursor down key) and the left
cursor key moves up to the previous folder (equivalent to cursor up
key).

I did not see an option in Alpine which would let me use right/left
cursor key to navigate into/out of folders.

Is there such an option?

Greetings,
Claus

Just for the record: I checked again and found the option. Deselecting
"Enable Arrow Navigation Relaxed" solved the problem.

Confused me for a while too. Can one use his old .pinerc with Alpine?
(I only tested Alpine on WNT for now, since BSM is not in the official
distribution.)

I did so. Started with alpine (on linux) using my old .pinerc. Then
customized it a bit to exploit some features (like colour or key
definition), some of which were probably already present in old pine, only
I decided to take advantage of them when I switched pine to alpine.

Worked for me without any problem. Out of the box so to say.

Cheers,

Okay, good. (Actually, yes, pine did colours, but I dislike them.)
